Preserving biodiversity and addressing environmental issues are values that are dear to us. In a context where soil work can sometimes pose a challenge, our technical team has chosen to implement the eco-grazing method.
This year at Château Cavalier, in the heart of the Côtes de Provence appellation, we welcomed 800 sheep divided into two herds for a trial on 40 hectares of vineyards. Their essential mission was to graze the grass close to the ground, thereby facilitating the initial soil work.
This collaboration allows us to strengthen our local roots in the heart of the Provence region, working closely with a local shepherd who ensures a harmonious transition between the Bouches-du-Rhône and the majestic Southern Alps. The trials conducted this year at Château Cavalier are in perfect alignment with our environmental strategy.
